ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT

SBGR provides lobbying and strategic counsel on a wide range of environment and energy issues, from energy efficiency, Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency (CAFE) standards, recycling, and renewable energy. Sarah’s stint at the U.S. Department of Energy brings pertinent hands on regulatory and legislative expertise to assist clients in making their case to the energy and environment committees. SBGR is well positioned to advocate on behalf of clients interested in engaging on energy and climate change policy.


TRANSPORTATION

SBGR provides substantive expertise in the areas of transportation and infrastructure policy and provides clients with valuable opportunities to help shape policy. Sarah served as Professional Staff on the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee (2009-2012) and has a policy background in aviation, railroads, highways, and waterways.

MANUFACTURING

SBGR works with clients in the U.S. manufacturing sector to maintain domestic capacity and a high-skilled workforce. Manufacturing is the foundation for both a durable, globally competitive and innovative economy and a strong national defense. SBGR provides strategic advice to clients interested in sustainable manufacturing, R&D infrastructure, and effective outreach and engagement efforts.

DEFENSE

SBGR works with clients in who manufacture advanced materials seeking federal funding for critical military defense capabilities. This work involves communicating about the economic importance of these programs in states and congressional districts throughout the United States and educating the U.S. Department of Defense and other agencies about the strategic and technical merits of advanced materials platforms for defense applications.
